Linda Hudson, President
BAE Systems Land and Armaments
Linda Hudson is president of BAE Systems Land & Armaments Operating Group. Land and Armaments, with headquarters at Arlington, Virginia, is a global leader in the design, development and production of combat vehicles, artillery systems, naval guns and missile launchers with nearly 11,000 employees at 13 primary locations in the U.S. and locations in the UK, Sweden and South Africa. The group is a leader in the design, development and production of combat vehicles, artillery, naval guns, missile launchers and precision munitions. It stands at the forefront of research, development and design technologies for a wide variety of technological solutions for survivability, lethality and mobility.
The L&A group was formed in June 2005. Prior to joining BAE Systems Hudson served as president, General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products in Charlotte, N.C. Hudson concurrently served as an officer of General Dynamics since May 1999.
Prior to her current assignment, Ms. Hudson was Vice President, Business Development at General Dynamics corporate headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia. Assuming this position in August 1997, Ms. Hudson was responsible for developing and implementing new business growth strategies across the corporation.
Ms. Hudson served as President, General Dynamics Ordnance Systems, from April 1992 through July 1997. As the chief operating officer of this wholly owned subsidiary, Ms. Hudson managed a broad range of products and operated a government–owned manufacturing facility. While in this position, corporate ownership of the subsidiary transferred from Martin Marietta to Lockheed Martin and was then acquired by General Dynamics in 1996.
In November 1985, Ms. Hudson joined Martin Marietta in Orlando, Florida. She held a variety of positions there including Director, Air Defense Production Operations and Program Director, Electro Optical Systems before being appointed to head the Ordnance Corporation in 1992.
At Ford Aerospace and Communications Corporation in Newport Beach, California, Ms. Hudson started as a Reliability Engineer in 1976. She became the division’s Quality Assurance Manager in 1979 and assumed the position of Program Manager, Air Defense Systems in 1984.
Ms. Hudson began her career in 1972 at the Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Florida as a Research and Development Engineer, specializing in satellite and communication systems. She progressed to a Senior Engineering position in 1974 in Reliability Design Analysis and Component Failure Analysis.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Ms. Hudson received her bachelor’s degree, with honors, in Systems Engineering. She remains active in the alumni and athletic associations of the University and has served on an advisory board for the College of Engineering. Selected by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), Ms. Hudson served as a member of the Industrial Committee for Ammunition Producers and she has been retained by the U.S. Government as an expert on industrial base issues and defense reutilization. NDIA recognized Ms. Hudson with their prestigious “Firepower Award” for her contributions to the defense of our country. Recently, she became the first woman to receive the National Infantry Association’s “Military Order of St. Maurice” in recognition of outstanding support of the U.S. Army Infantry.
Ms. Hudson has been active in the communities where she has lived. She currently serves on the boards of the Charlotte Chamber, the United Way of Central Carolinas, the North Carolina Conference for Women, Queens University of Charlotte McColl Graduate School of Business, and Norwich University of Northfield, Vt.

Marion C. Blakey, President & CEO, Aerospace Industries Association (AIA)
Marion C. Blakey is president and chief executive officer of the Aerospace Industries Association. AIA represents the nation’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of civil, military, and business aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, space systems, aircraft engines, missiles, materiel and related components, equipment services, and information technology.
Ms. Blakey became the eighth full-time chief executive of the association in 2007. Before that, she served a five-year term as administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
As administrator, Blakey was responsible for regulating the nation’s airways as well as operating the world’s largest air traffic control system. As FAA administrator, Blakey oversaw the safest period for air travel in the United States’ history and is a tireless safety advocate internationally. She instituted solid business practices at the agency with more than 97 percent of the agency’s major programs coming in on time and on budget. Under her leadership, the Next Generation Air Transportation System was launched and significant progress made toward its implementation.
Prior to being named FAA Administrator, Blakey served as chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board. During her tenure as chairman, Blakey managed a number of accident investigations, including the crash of American Airlines flight 587. Blakey worked to improve the Board’s accident reporting process and increased industry and regulatory responsiveness to NTSB safety recommendations. Additionally, Blakey strengthened the Board’s advocacy and outreach programs to promote safer travel throughout all modes of transportation. She also furthered development of the NTSB Academy as a national and international resource to enhance aviation safety and accident investigations.
Including her service at the FAA and NTSB, Blakey has held six presidential appointments, four of which required Senate confirmation. From 1992 to 1993, Blakey served as administrator of the Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). As the nation’s leading highway safety official, she was charged with reducing deaths, injuries, and economic losses resulting from motor vehicle crashes. Prior to her service at NHTSA, she held key positions at the Department of Commerce, the Department of Education, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the White House and the Department of Transportation.
From 1993 to 2001, Blakey was the principal of Blakey & Associates, now Blakey & Agnew, a Washington, D.C. public affairs consulting firm with a particular focus on transportation issues and traffic safety.
Born in Gadsden, Ala., Ms. Blakey received her bachelor’s degree with honors in international studies from Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia. She also attended Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies for graduate work in Middle East Affairs.

Richard L. Aboulafia, Vice President, Analysis, The Teal Group
Richard is Vice President of Analysis at Teal Group Corporation. He manages consulting projects in the commercial and military aircraft field and analyzes broader defense and aerospace trends. He has advised numerous companies, including most prime and many second- and third-tier contractors in the US, Europe and Asia. He also writes and edits Teal Group's World Military and Civil Aircraft Briefing, a forecasting tool covering over 135 aircraft programs and markets.
Richard writes publicly about aviation and defense, with numerous articles in Aviation Week and Space Technology, the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Military Technology, Avmark Aviation Economist, and Jane's Intelligence Review. He has a regular column in AIAA's Aerospace America. Frequently cited as an aviation industry authority by trade and news publications, Richard has also appeared on numerous television news and radio programs including ABC, BBC, Bloomberg, CBS, CNN, NBC, NPR and PBS. He has spoken at numerous conferences, including ATRIF, NAFA, NARA, Network for Aerospace Management in Europe (NAME), and Speednews. He presents a yearly lecture to the National Defense University/Industrial College of the Armed Forces and has served as an expert witness in aerospace markets.
Before he joined Teal Group in 1990, Richard analyzed the jet engine market at Jane's Information Group, served as an aerospace industry consultant for an international trade advisory company and supported research projects at the Brookings Institution. He has a Masters degree in War Studies from King’s College, University of London and a Bachelors degree from George Washington University. He lives in downtown Washington, DC with his wife, Casey.

David Huntsman, Senior Manager - Core Materials Management Leader, The Boeing Company
David Huntsman, Senior Manager with the Boeing Company; leads the Commercial Airplanes team responsible for process integration and Materials Management functional excellence. He is the Airplane Programs strategic initiative leader responsible for the deployment of Exostar tools to improve operational efficiency through e-Enabling supply chain transactions. He has an extensive background in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Logistics that began in 1976 with the United States Army. He received his MBA from Seattle University's Albers School of Business and Economics. Paul Kaminski, Former Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology, DoD
Chairman and CEO of Technovation Inc., a consulting company dedicated to fostering innovation and the development and application of advanced technology, Dr. Kaminski is also a senior partner in Global Technology Partners, an exclusive affiliate of Rothschild North America, formed to make acquisitions of and investments in technology, defense and aerospace-related companies. He has also served as chairman and chief executive officer of Technology Strategies and Alliances, a technology-oriented investment banking and consulting firm. During his 20-year career with the Air Force, Dr. Kaminski served as director for Low Observables Technology, responsible for directing the development and fielding of stealth systems and special assistant to the under secretary of defense for research and engineering. He managed the development of advanced space systems and new sensor technology, and was responsible for development of inertial guidance components for the Minuteman missile and terminal guidance systems for the first precision-guided munitions.
As under secretary of defense for acquisition and technology (1994–1997), Dr. Kaminski was responsible for research and development, procurement, acquisition reform, environmental security, international programs, dual-use technology, logistics, the defense technology, and industrial base and military construction. He also served as chairman of the Defense Science Board and was a member of the Defense Policy Board.
Dr. Kaminski is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Technical Advisory Board, the Procurement Roundtable and Atlantic Council. He is a fellow of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics. He is a director of Anteon Corporation, Condor Systems Inc., DynCorp, General Dynamics, In-Q-Tel Inc., IntegriNautics, Software Engineering Institute and Veridian. He is on the Board of Visitors of the National Defense University and an advisor to LynuxWorks Inc., MILCOM Technologies, MIT Lincoln Laboratory and Theseus Logic Inc.
Dr. Kaminski is chairman of the National Reconnaissance Office Technology Advisory Group, a consultant to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and a member of Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Xi and Sigma Gamma Tau. He has authored numerous publications dealing with inertial and terminal guidance system performance, simulation techniques, and Kalman filtering and numerical techniques applied to estimation problems. Dr. Kaminski has also been the recipient of the following awards:

- The Defense Distinguished Service Medal
- The Defense Intelligence Agency Director’s Award
- Legion of Merit with oak leaf cluster
- The International Strategic Studies Association Stefan T. Possony Medal

Dr. Kaminski received a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University; a Bachelor of Science from the Air Force Academy; and Master of Science degrees in Aeronautics and Astronautics, as well as in Electrical Engineering from MIT.

William R. Killingsworth, Ph.D., Executive Director, MIT Forum for Supply Chain Innovation Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Dr. Killingsworth conducts research and consulting in supply chain design and optimization, enterprise software, lean enterprise, lean manufacturing, six sigma, innovation and new product development. Clients and research sponsors include government and defense organizations such as the Army Aviation and Missile Command and many companies in the automotive, aviation and aerospace industries. He helped form the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (400 corporate members including Mercedes Benz, Honda, Toyota, International Diesel and Hyundai) and the Alabama Aerospace Industry Association (100 corporate members).
Dr. Killingsworth has 25 years of experience in management consulting. Following graduate studies at MIT, he founded Killingsworth Associates, a management consulting firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His firm conducted consulting assignments across the United States, as well as in Europe and Africa, specializing in strategic planning, supply chain and continuous improvement processes, feasibility studies, budgeting and capitalization.
Dr. Killingsworth attended MIT for graduate school and was a National Science Foundation Fellow. At MIT, he received the S.M. in Aeronautics and Astronautics specializing in optimization and control theory. He was elected to Sigma Xi, the research honor society. His Ph.D., also from MIT, was in a joint program of the School of Engineering and the Sloan School of Management. Dr. Killingsworth received the B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with highest honor from Auburn University.

Andy McAdam, Production Manager, Airline, Maintenance and Publications Services, BAE SYSTEMS
Andy is currently Production Manager For AMPS within the BAE SYSTEMS Regional Aircraft business based in Prestwick Scotland, his role includes ensuring that the all Regional Aircraft Publication Manuals (over 2000) are updated and delivered to scheduled.
Previously, Andy was the Maintenance Projects Manager within Regional Aircraft, it was in this role that Andy introduced Forumpass 3 to the Maintenance Review Board Process in 2003. Since the initial trial project for the 146/RJ aircraft was launched succesfully in September 2003, the use of Exostar's ForumPass is now being used to manage the Maintenance Review Board workload for the 146/RJ, ATP and Jetstream 41 aircraft.

John O'Brien III, Acting Defense Business Systems Acquisition Executive, Business Transformation Agency, DoD
Mr. John O’Brien is the Program Executive Officer for Enterprise Sourcing at the Department of Defense (DoD) Business Transformation Agency (BTA). In this role, he is responsible for managing and deploying the portfolio of enterprise systems and capabilities that enable the DoD Enterprise Sourcing, materiel visibility, and acquisition visibility capabilities. In addition, he is also responsible for managing the systems and capabilities that provide vendors and suppliers a common means of engaging and doing business with the DoD to ensure efficient supplier engagement and reliable and accurate delivery of acceptable goods and services to support the warfighter.
He previously served as the Chief Information Officer of the BTA, with responsibility for overseeing all technology initiatives during the stand-up of the agency. In this role, he was charged with providing expert guidance in the design, deployment and utilization of hardware and software systems within the BTA and served as an adviser for senior leadership on all technology matters, especially those relating to protecting sensitive data and enhancing operational efficiency.
Prior to joining DoD, Mr. O'Brien had eight years of experience in the management, implementation, and support of large-scale, global applications and systems in the private sector, focusing on transforming engineering design and supply chain management business processes. Mr. O'Brien's career has included management positions at Allstream IT Services, JDS Uniphase, and Bearing Point and consulting and engineering positions at PTC and Emergency One.
Mr. O'Brien graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He is now completing a Master’s of Business Administration at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Chenxi Wang, Ph.D., Principal Analyst, Forrester Research
Chenxi serves Security & Risk professionals. She is a leading expert on content security, application security, and vulnerability management. Chenxi leads the effort at Forrester to build the application security and Web 2.0 security research portfolio.
Chenxi’s research builds on her in-depth technical insights and her years of research experience. Chenxi covers topics such as best practices for content and application security, emerging threats, and operational aspects of security deployment. Chenxi has also written about the China technology market and closely follows the technology adoption trends in the market.
Prior to Forrester, Chenxi was the chief scientist for KSR, a risk management service provider startup in Silicon Valley. Previously, Chenxi was an associate professor at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). She was an instrumental faculty member behind the inception CMU’s Cylab. At CMU, Chenxi led a number of high-profile research projects, including multimillion dollar projects from the Department of Defense and National Science Foundation. Chenxi was a consultant to the FIC, HP Labs, Emerson, Lucent, and a number of venture capital companies.
Chenxi has been frequently quoted in the press, including such media outlets as The New York Times and Infoworld. An accomplished public speaker, Chenxi also has delivered keynote and highlighted speeches at many events, including Chevron’s IT conference, Forrester Leadership Boards events, and other customer events. In her previous role as an academic, Chenxi delivered many research talks at top academic conferences and institutions such as Stanford University and the University of Cambridge.
Chenxi received her Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Virginia. Her Ph.D. thesis work was awarded an ACM Samuel Alexander award for excellence in research. She received a B.S. from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.
